Margaret M. Conte

Margaret M. Conte, (nee Giangualano), of Carteret, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at the age of 88.  Born in Jersey City, Margaret later resided in Bayonne before moving to Carteret in 1987.  Margaret was a homemaker and former parishioner of St. Paul the Apostle Church.

Margaret is predeceased by her husband, Isadore Conte and her daughter Linda Cuccurullo.  She is survived by her sons Anthony and Patrick Conte and her son in law, Joseph Cuccurullo; sister, Marie Glover and grandchildren Toni Ann and Joey Cuccurullo.  Margaret is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Visitation will be held at McLaughlin Funeral Home on Friday, March 25, 2016, from 3 to 8 PM.  A Solemn Blessing will be celebrated at the funeral home on Saturday morning at 10 AM.  Burial will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, NJ. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Bright Focus Foundation, 22512 Gatewa Center Drive, Carksburg, MD  20871.

I can remember when the Conte family moved to Carteret.W e had a deli across the street. My family realized that they are a wonderful family.Mrs.Conte went to Italy and she had a great time dining with my father's family. She was a terrific lady and will be missed .Rest in Peace.
