Robert Frank Jablonski

Robert Frank Jablonski passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Jersey City Medical Center while surrounded by his loving family and friends.

A native son of Jersey City, Robert was a graduate of Dickinson High School and received both his Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts Degrees from New Jersey City University in 1983.  He was a Mail Processor for the United States Postal Service.  A devoted parishioner of both St. Joseph and St. Nicholas Churches, he served as both a Lector and Commentator.

“Tito Bob” or Brother Bob” as he was lovingly referred to by his family, was a thoughtful and generous person.  He was an amazing uncle to all of his nieces and nephews and beloved amongst his friends and colleagues.  He will be missed by all who knew him.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 30 years, Elizabeth Abuan Jablonski; his sister Luann Klein and many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Visitation will be at McLaughlin Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00-8:00pm.  Relatives and friends may assemble at the funeral home on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 930am prior to the Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church at 10:30am.  Cremation will be private.  Please omit flowers.

My sincere condolence and deepest sympathy to the family. Where as nothing can prepare us for the loss of a loved one; May the love of family, support of close friends, and the many fond memories that you shared over the years bring warmth to your hearts. Many have received inner peace and strength from reading God's promises. Revelation 21:4 John 5:28,28 John 11: 11,13 Luke 23:43 Ps 37:11,29
