Steven John Kilianski, Jr. was born on July 10, 1978 in Jersey City, NJ to Patricia (Urbanski) and Steven Kilianski, Sr.  Steven walked into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 5, 2017 while surrounded by his loving family. Steven grew up in Bayonne, NJ  He was an avid fisherman and a devoted New York Giants fan.  As a young man he had a love of sports and played basketball, baseball and most of all, loved his skateboard.  Steven worked in the technical industry for most of his career and later moved to the financial services industry.
He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Kilianski, Sr.; grandfathers John Kilianski and Raymond Urbanksi Sr. and great grandparents Anna and Angelo Pietronico and John and Mary Bilski.  Steven leaves behind his son, Christian J. Kilianski and fiance’ Mary Paiz; his devoted mother, Patricia Kilianski Paldino and her husband Dave Paldino; sister Renee Kilianski; brother Michael Kilianski and grandmothers,  Barbara Kilianski and Rose Urbanski.  He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whom he adored.  Words cannot express how much love they all had for Steven.
Steven valiantly battled a rare brain cancer for over 5 years.  He served as an inspiration to many as he continued to be a great father to his son and the kind of man that anyone would be proud to call son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend.  He will forever be missed by his family and all those who were privileged to know him.

I met Steve while we worked at ETrade together in what seems a lifetime ago. While we were laid off, we became pretty close. Steve showed me how to fish, a hobby which meant a lot to him and I was fortunate enough to have experienced that with him. We would fish in Bayonne by where the cruise ships docked, sometimes joining party boats and a few times renting a private charter, with just 2 or 3 of us out in the middle of nowhere. These are some of my cherished moments. Steve introduced me to many things, he was funny, intelligent, witty, caring and just a great person! He was the type of guy you hung out with for just a few moments and you just gravitated towards him; just a true force of nature. The stuff that would come out of his mouth would put a smile on your face no matter what (be it original and inappropriate) but that was Steve! Guaranteed to make you laugh! Steve was invincible to us and he's proved this through his son Christian, who will continue his legacy. Goodbye shotty2dabody, goodbye Spealz, goodbye Steve. I'm happy to have had the opportunity to call you a friend.
