Theresa M. Caufield

Theresa M. Caulfield, (nee Moloney), passed away, peacefully, with her family at her side, on Tuesday, October 3, 2017.  She was 94 years of age.  Born in New York City, Theresa came to reside in Jersey City as a youth and has been a  lifelong resident since.  She was a homemaker, wife, mother of thirteen and grandmother.  Theresa also was employed in her family business as manager of Moloney's Meat Market in Jersey City.

Theresa is predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Caulfield, her parents, Elizabeth (nee O'Hare) and John Moloney and children, Joseph, Elizabeth, Anne and Louise.

Theresa is survived by her devoted children,  Mary, Matthew, Teresa, Michael, Eileen, Alice, Dorothy, Claire and John, ten loving grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at McLaughlin Funeral Home on Thursday morning, October 5, 2017, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Aloysius Church at 10 AM.

Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Catskill, NY.

At this time of sadness, much comfort is needed. When my family member died, I was comforted by what the Bible promises for the future will bring. John 5:28, 29 states: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". The Bible's promises are so reassuring especially during this difficult time. My condolences are with you and your family
