Gerard V. "Jerry" Cuicci

Gerard V. “Jerry” Cuicci of Jersey City passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Jersey City Medical Center.  He was 77 Years old.

A true native son of Jersey City, Jerry was everyone’s friend and “Uncle” to many.  A US Army Veteran, Jerry worked in various positions for the City of Jersey City. He was a dedicated father and grandfather and loved spending time with his family.

Jerry was a Yankee, Giants and Boston Celtics fan and a gifted photographer who enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a member of the Logan Rod and Gun Club.

Jerry was predeceased by his beloved wife Angela (nee Miele), son-in-law Roy Buckman and sisters Daura DeSiena, Teresa Esposito and Carmela Marzigliano.  He is survived by his daughters, Lorraine Buckman, Gemma Fitzgerald (Vincent), Geri Ann Petrelli (Frank), Angela Mantione (Joseph) and Camille Englese (Jason); Grandchildren, Jonathan, Nicholas, Ava, Michael, Julianna, Alexa, Luca, Valentina, Victoria, Emily and Aedan; brother, Peter Cuicci, sisters, Carol Miller and Madeline Buda; goddaughters, Lisa Steffanhagan and Jessica Tagliareni and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be at McLaughlin Funeral Home on Monday, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.  Relatives and friends are invited to assemble at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 9:00am prior to the Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30am.  Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery.
