Here are some special memories shared by family and friends.
I had the privilege of working with Lucita at the Port Authority for many years. She was a consummate professional, knowledgeable, insightful, responsive, pleasant and caring. I remember on one occasion taking an estimate to Lucita for review and she looked at the drawings and asked if a crane would be used? She was always able to see what I couldnâ??t and produced more realistic estimates. I am very grateful to Lucita for her contribution to the Port Authority. I extend my condolences and prayers to her family during this difficult time. Audrey Dagnachew Program Manager LaGuardia Airport

I have known Lucita for fifteen years. During all these years I have found her to be hard working, smiling and helping others. She was shy by nature but once she became comfortable with you, she opens up and you can see her sense of humor and laugh with her on her minute observation. Her work throughout these years was excellent and self-motivated never needing any supervision. Since she started working at the clientâ??s office we had only phone contact with her so I would invite her out for lunch and I enjoyed those moments. I extend my condolences and prayers to her family during this difficult time. VJ Associates will definitely miss her.
