Dorothy A. Artificio

Dorothy A. Artificio (nee' Brennan) passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at her home with her family at her side.  

Born in Jersey City, Dorothy remained a lifelong Jersey City resident where she was employed as a Judicial Clerk by the Superior Court of Hudson County, retiring in 2013.  She was an avid Bingo player at St. Joseph's Church.

Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael V. Artificio and sisters, Ann, Irene, Corrine and Marie.  She is survived by her 3 children, Jo Ann Artificio and her fiance' Larry Rolla, Mark Artificio and Christine Kawtari and her husband Fouad; her grandchildren Janna and Noah Kawtari; sister, Ellen Czaplinski, brother Thomas Brennan and many nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to mention, but all very dear to her.

Visitation will be at McLaughlin Funeral Home, 625 Pavonia Avenue, Jersey City, NJ  07306 on Tuesday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  Relatives and friends are invited to assemble at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 9:30 am prior to the funeral mass which will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church at 10:30am.  Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.
